With more than 3000 years of antiquity sacha inchi, also known as the ̈Nut of the Incas ̈, originates from the Peruvian Amazons. This nut was used by Amazon Natives as a natural anti-oxidant, a way to reduce cholesterol, as well as a way to reinforce the immune system.
It contains a high quantity of fatty oils (54%), proteins (33%) and it is also one of the seeds with the highest amount of Omega 3 (49%). Sacha Inchi Seeds contains higher count in unsaturated fatty acids and lower in saturated fat compared to all seeds used in the production of vegetable oils: such as olive, soy or sunflower.
